Sony warns PlayStation Gamers of Release Issue with PlayStation 5

Not that we didn't see this coming, but Sony has recently warned those interested in its latest console; will have to be hasty in grabbing it at launch.

Seems like Sony is running short on PS5 units, and it will have a very limited supply at the console’s launch.

What all of this means is that you’ll be lucky if you manage to grab a pre-order for the console. Not many retailers are going to exactly have a great deal of supply either.

The case was similar with PlayStation 4, with the console being hard to get even after a few months of its release.

Considering the demand for the console will be extremely high, it would be safe to assume that the console will go pretty much short in supply soon after the official launch.

The PlayStation 5 is set to release towards the end of the year in the holiday season. Currently, there’s no information regarding a release date.

It’ll probably be a few months before the demand and supply achieve a stable equilibrium.
