Release Date Updates For The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima

As game developers (as well as many other businesses around the world) are struggling to meet deadlines and the uncertainty of release dates becomes more worrying; a light at the end of a very dark tunnel, for gamers at least, has shone through.

The Last Of Us II has finally been given the green light for launch on June 19th, 2020; with Ghost of Tsushima now set for launch on July 17th, 2020.

The news has been welcomed around the world with open arms by fans of the series and those who are going to be new to it. The game was originally set to launch on the 21st of February 2020, but due to Naughty Dog not feeling comfortable with meeting the deadline, it was pushed back to the 27th of April 2020; the final blow to Naughty Dog and TLOU2 was COVID-19, which ultimately meant that logistically, releasing the game would prove difficult.

Naughty Dog and Sony Entertainment have thanked the community for their patience and understanding.
